Take a moment and make sure there's a web analytics product installed on your website and that you're using it to measure the right things (organizationally focused goals, not hits, pageviews, or visits). 

Google Analytics is free and an excellent starting point for any organization. 

Learning more about web analytics
The attached help area for Google Analytics, Conversion University, is a great training tool to get started.  So is the Web Analytics Association and their online courses at the University of British Columbia in web analytics.
